Each class will also help develop skills in reading, writing, critical thinking, research, and use of technology that are necessary for CMFP.
The Continuing Ministry Formation Program (CMFP) offers advanced formation for adults seeking faith enrichment and for those who desire to serve as ministry leaders. The program is also required for those discerning a vocation to the permanent diaconate.
CMFP prepares lay ministers to serve the Church and to support the Pastor in implementing the parish and diocesan vision.

CMFP consists of 24 weeknight classes (Monday in English and Tuesday in Spanish) and eight Saturday formation days each year.
Specializations are diocesan workshops and or training offered by various diocesan offices for ALL parish ministers who desire to serve their local parish community.

There are two levels of specializations. The basic level meets the requirements for PMFP, and the advanced specializations meet the requirements for CMFP.
